As part of our study visit to Romania, we – together with our partner organization @lifeassociation.eu – had the opportunity to meet with the team of @aidr.om in Bucharest. AIDRom is a key actor in the field of migration and integration, offering support to refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable groups.
During the visit, we learned about AIDRom’s wide range pf services – from legal counselling and housing assistance to psychological support and language training.
What impressed us most was their holistic integration approach. They don’t just offer help – they build long-term pathways that empower people to rebuild their lives in Romania. The organization also plays an active role in advocacy and public awarenwss, working to change narrarives around migration.
We came away with practical ideas and inspiration for our own work. Thank you AIDRom for your warm welcome!
