We just kicked off our new Erasmus+ Small-scale partnership: „KA210 – Youth on the move: A digital campaign for understanding migration causes“
Together with our Italian partner organization @office.itrf , we aim to raise awareness about the root causes of youth migration and actively counter xenophobia and misinformation through digital media.
Why this project?
Many young people are forced to leave their home countries due to conflict, poverty, political instability, or lack of access to education and opportunities. Yet public debates often lack understanding of these complex realities. Instead, stereotypes and prejudices dominate.
What are we doing?
Our project will explore these issues through:
• Research on the structural causes of youth migration;
• Creation of infographics, brochures, and short videos;
• A Europe-wide digital media campaign to promote empathy and knowledge.
What’s next?
After a successful kick-off meeting, we are now entering the research phase in both Germany and Italy. We will gather insights on the causes of youth migration and challenges around xenophobia.
We will present the first project results to our partners in July during a meeting in Germany – a key step in shaping the direction of our awareness campaign.
